Is there some way to open the console without the tilde, or failing that rebind the "open console" command via a configuration file, or failing that at least use a config file to display fps? (Which is actually the only reason I want the console right now.)
(Admittedly, Oblivion is the only game I have on the Windows side here.) In Notepad, Visual Studio, Wordpad, etc., it works. That said, so far Oblivion is the only program on the Windows side to not recognize it. I'm doing so on my MacBook Pro, in a Parallels Windows Server 2008 VM (6 GB of RAM). I know for damn sure that driver isn't installed either during the base installation, or via Windows Update as well as SP1 or SP2 installations, unless you have an infrared based wireless device attached to your PC at the time of installation or update.Įdit: I just checked all the Vista PC's in my office (all of which are pre-built Acer Aspire AX1200's) and the only one with that driver has a wireless Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse attached to it. So to call me an idiot is fool hardy at best, especially considering I was just joking around as annotated by a very obviousīesides, I've done way too many Vista 32 bit and 64 bit installs along with SP1 and SP2. Such devices include remote control based infrared devices and or wireless keyboards, optical and laser mice of the Microsoft Brand or an alternate brand that uses the same drivers. If you have a driver for "Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver" which is a "Microsoft Device" driver, one would have to logically assume that at one time you had the aforementioned device or a very similar device that uses the same driver attached to your PC. I'm sure my PC Building and Maintainance knowledge is greater than about 95% of the users on this board.
